Mother Nature can be really fickle at times. It has rained every day for the past week here in Pittsburgh. We bought our house a year ago. It is holding up and showing no signs of leaks. My rain barrel is full, so I will have water for my plants once the sun arrives on Thursday. Enjoy your day. Regular smile

We have been getting a ton of rain ourselves. I, too, have wondering where it all comes from.

Re: Kabu

I di read somewhere that more folk die of the cold here than in Russia. It is because many do not wrap up enough and the damp cold is a killer.🌺

Re: Pat

If one does not get much exercise the stairs do help although my old Aunt used to go up backwards on her bottom. She was quite plump and it might not suit everyone. 🌺

Re: SG.

Yes, we were parched throughout the Summer, but now it just pours down. Bad news for the sewage.

HooexArchie has a good home. It must be pretty there. It’s early for the rain to start, isn’t it? We have had lots of rain the past tel winters. I hope it is drier this year.

The housing market is scary here in the states, CCT. The federal reserve chairman dropped the legal interest rate by half a percent, which will make the cost of a mortgage a bit lower, but list prices are often way out of reach of a 9-5 jobholder. I bought my house just 20 years ago, so it's probably worth a lot more now - but I couldn't afford anything that compares to it in this market, so even though I'd like a place with no stairs, I'm staying put for the duration.

I believe the year 1011 and 1012   were warmer centuries and then England became her usual bitterly cold and wet self. Cycles, but now we have to add big world wide climate changes.
