Re: Good afternoon Sherri

Thank you, it looks great, and I do have some of the apple varieties if Archie has not pinched them all. Now the hard work begins.🦋

Re: Pat

I do not have a microwave . I do not seem to have room for anything these days but I could do it in the oven, Cheers.🌺

Re: Kabu

Well dearie I don't know anyone who keeps pigs any longer. Once nearly every cottage in the next village had its own piggy aroma on a hot day.🌺🌺

CCT....

.....Sis brought me an apple puff today that she had baked.  It was so good, it is already gone, though I had planned to save half of it for Grandson Phil.  I'll just make him a packet of popcorn and cut up a raw apple for him.  LOL

I was going to give you a recipe but you have a couple of great ones already. Oh and myself, I will never be too old for a toffee apple. You could feed them to someone's pigs. They love a bit of fruit, especially apples.

There's a simple way to get the baked apple experience. Simply core and slice an apple, place the slices on a microwave-safe plate, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, and nuke it for a couple minutes. You could add cookie crumb topping if you wish. The warm apple slices are very tasty and could be an accompaniment to a scoop of vanilla ice cream, but just fine all by themselves.

My favorite way to enjoy warm baked apples is in an apple crisp. Betty Crocker has an easy recipe for apple crisp.  Apple Crisp Recipe - BettyCrocker.com
