Years ago I read a book called THE LUCK OF HUEMAC which is about a character in the time of the Aztecs. It was an animistic culture, in which all things, even rocks, were beings each with its own kind of awareness. Since then I've felt quite at home with that concept. Now I am thinking I want to write about a rock! https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2388817.The_Luck_of_Huemac

A rock named Willie, as in will he or won't he, who wants to go west and see a real cowboy.  How he gets there, all the obstacles, perhaps even a slow mile or so on the back of a turtle. But I also like the ideas of other commenters here - it sounds like a fun project.

Good morning

Enjoy your dinner in the village. Sausage and peppers sound delicious. You could make the rock a girl who meets another rock during her travels, gets married, and eventually gives birth to a mass of pebbles. They can all eventually settle in one big rock garden. Regular smile

Well, you should not think rocks have much imagination, so you would have to rock the boat a bit if you do not want it to be called Rocky. I also hope it will not be stone-hearted.

I love the concept of the rock story. Sally the Rock popped into my mind.
