The matter of the COVID shot is a complex one, and one that is sure to be debated for a long time.

Good Morning
Your flowers sound beautiful! It is so nice of you to share with your neighbors. I hope Archie and his wife get to celebrate their Anniversary! Enjoy your day.

Re: Good afternoon
Well Sherri I think a lot was to do with the brand that was offered. Ours does seem to be quite good. I have only heard of folk succumbing when they did not get the jab.
We have always had flu jabs and I cannot remember ever getting the flu.
I hope your Hubby has built up resistance. Take care. 🌺

Re: Kabu
Yes one only has to get someone to cough near you. Some poor folk try to pull their bad teeth out themselves. It is almost impossible to get a N. H. appointment with the dwindling dentists who still work under that system. Immigrants pour in each day they all need housing etc. There is a lot of resentment, especially from homeless UK folk. I guess you came in the honeymoon period. I cannot understand phone calls from non English, most Oldies are the same. Boo, hoo, I think I am the only one left with patience. About a thimble full. 🌺🌺

I had the flu and covid shots a week or 10 days ago. I would much rather deal with the mild soreness around the site of the jabs than have to deal with the covid or flu symptoms and after-effects. Take good care of yourself.

we will get both flu and covid shots. We don't go out much but are not about to take a risk. What happened to England's Welfare State? They seem to have just kept eroding it until there is nothing left.😥

Good afternoon
I would say that getting shots is truly up to each individual. Pittsburgh is now seeing a rise in people with COVID, but this time it isn't as bad as the first round was. Underlying health issues can make things worse if they do get COVID. I know of two people who died after getting the COVID vaccination. I also have heard quite a few stories from people who got the vaccination and developed health issues soon after. I have never had COVID, but I developed hypothyroidism right after I got my second COVID-19 shot, and my hubby got COVID right after his second shot. I guess it is one of those things that you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't. 💉
