Well, Sherri last year I grew many small tomatoes as my brother said they are easier to freeze. It was a bit of a chore picking them and he half filled a tall freezer with them.
This year seeds did not seem to germinate much and I ended up with some old fashioned variety. Good flavour about a fortnight left I think. Next year I shall plant earlier as they seem to carry on longer, of course they will need more heat, we shall see. 🦋

I feed mine with a seaweed feed at times it does make them juicy.
Of course, it would be nice to know what system is used these days.🌺

Oh' you would love it today here, it is pouring with rain and is supposed to keep going for hours. It would be much too slippery to hoe today. Tomatoes have had a rough growing time here we had one month of hot weather and then it was dry and cool. Of course, mine are in a greenhouse. Well, my brother won't eat anything from the small greenhouse because the cat slept in there but did not die in there. Also, I sprayed it out with strong disinfectant twice. Hope you feel better.🌺

We always had a garden growing up. My brother has a huge garden but he said the tomatoes didn't do well this year from the heat. No, I do not like rain or cold. Be careful hoeing out there in the rain. And watch out for cat skeletons - they are for Halloween! Teehee.

Sadly, the tomato season is nearly at its end. I use tomatoes all summer long for various recipes where they are needed, and I love a good tomato sandwich. 🍅

I hope you take it easy and enjoy your day. I think you need a piece of pie and a cup of tea. I'm watching the Cleveland Browns play the New York Giants and it's not going well. I've been down with a cold but my grandson Caeser went and got me some coconut water and I think I'm starting to feel a little better.
