A cute one. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to more. Me, I was profoundly dumb enough to think I knew more than my mom. It was my grandmother who did wield the influence, though. Later, I saw the enormous wisdom both women possessed.

I am loving this; me thinks it is going to be a learning of life's serious subjects. yes things do change in every generation, especially in my life time, but something tells me times change but some dangers are the same forever.

Cute story. Each generation seems to learn something from the last that is not beneficial to repeat. I guess they refer to it as breaking the cycle.

Well, I am glad they are not broilers. Once when I was a boy I sent for a cockerel and two hens they all had written extended pedigrees. 🌺
