Re: Re: Good afternoon

You are right about that.  Half a loaf is better than nothing. 🍞

That is a whole lot of running around there.

Good Morning

I think we will all have to find ways to cut our budgets.  I don't think things are getting back to normal anytime soon or maybe ever.  It will take the older generation to keep the young ones going.

Re: Kabu

Yes inflation ruins folk, but there again if we worried about it. Perhaps we are more cheerful than we sound. Looks like rain, it will save me an hour watering the flowers. Archie is  selling 4 bucketful's a day. I would jump over the moon but we can rarely see it now.

Keep yer chin up. 🌺🌺

Re: CCT Taps

Yes indeed, it looks like perks will be few and far between.

Cannot get spectacles for the cat any longer. 🌺😊

Re: Good afternoon Sherri

The trouble is inflation one really has to spend money as one receives it to get value.

Of course in the past not so many made it to pension age, well men especially,

I suppose half a loaf is better than nothing.🦋

Good afternoon

We are headed to unbelievably hard times, even though we are already experiencing rock bottom. Child credits are great for those who are eligible, but it seems to promote overpopulation. I'll just be thankful to receive my social security if it is still there when the time comes to file for it. Winking smile

CC

I cannot, now, imagine not having all the Social Security that I paid for during my working years.  It was a good plan that has helped a lot of old people in the U.S.

Oh, but it seems we're drifting along wherever the swirls in the surface take us, letting the breezes blow by, watching clouds in the sky, listening to bird songs, thinking of days when we thought we were in charge of our own schedules.

it seems you feel about as cheerful as what I do these days. I remember one time when I went across from Greece to London, I changed a Thousand dollars Aust. and got 350 pounds back. I just couldn't afford to be there!
