The Banks are wiser now anything a bit different and things are set in motion. A bit different to the way it used to be.

Thank God. Now with frauds on the rise the banks are very careful and follow various steps to ensure customer's safety.

Good Evening

FSI, this has happened to me too.  Thankfully your credit card company stopped the transaction.

I am so grateful the company you deal with were aware. This fraudster could have emptied your card. I only use cash or direct debit and have still had to be alerted of false use. I was using Pat Pal on the "net and cancelled it because it appeared to be used by someone to purchase stuff. I don't buy over the internet at all now.

Good afternoon

Whew! Thank goodness these credit card companies are becoming more proactive regarding scams. It happened to us a few months ago. The scammer starts with a small amount and then moves on to something bigger. My charges were also declined and the bank sent me a text asking if I was attempting to make the charges. Mine was for men's suits at Jos A. Bank. Disappointed smile I'm glad it all worked out for you. Regular smile
