Kabu there was a time after the war one never realizes the good times until it turns muzzy.
The little villages with everyone well most friendly, I don't know what happened to the Bagasses. 🌺🌺

I know my dear England is fading away and that makes it easier to face the fact that long flights are beyond me. I read that even celebrities who fly first class have awful airport experiences as mush as what people like me do.my kids coming over here all had nightmare trips over and back. remember an England when you drove out of London in the country side every twist and turn was absolutely delightful to the eyes, and people opened their homes for bed and breakfast visitors and they sat and chattered with us in the evenings. So many stories they told of the war years and rebuilding afterwards.

Wow! Reads like there's a lot of gloom and doom in your weather. I hope it is nothing serious and that you don't get swamped with flooding or extreme heat. Not great news on the money front, either. But this ain't your first rodeo and you know the territory.Â
