Re: CCT....

.....During the Great Depression my Mom experienced hard times from both her and Dad losing their jobs when none were be had.   Later in life, her eighties, she reverted to thinking she had to watch her every penny.  It was hard to convince her she could have what she wanted.

I suppose you don't want to take a lover. So I think the worst thing that happens as we age is memories that one does not want to be reminded of. If one can avoid that it is not so dusty. Another problem is space in one mind. My sister was always concerned that she was short of money. She was not poor but she was not wealthy. Now she is depressed and I believe it is because she no longer has to worry about money. I have explained to her that she would be pretty miserable if she had money worries. Depression is a job to overcome. Also it is a pain for those who have to try to reason with someone, because usually all one can do is listen and hope it helps..   🌺🌺

Re: Kabu

I know you are right there.  I don't really worry much about it.  What will be will be.

I am sorry about the thyroid problem, a tough one when one is older but the thinning hair, don't let some hairdresser talk you into expensive shampoos etc. I find it is either going to thin or not.

Re: Good morning.....

.....Actually, it is good afternoon now.  Thyroid problems have always run in our family at least amongst the women.   Mother and two sisters had thyroid surgery and the rest of us taking medicine for it.  So, that's probably where the fault lies.

..... that a thin-haired scalp can revert to.   I always enjoy when the weather gets cooler in the fall because I can hide my head in the nice soft wool caps that Pat_b and Ciel have crocheted for me.

Good morning

I miss Anne Landers. I used to read her column daily. Getting older is hard on the body. I do back bends to keep my posture on point. Thyroid problems, stress, hormonal imbalances, and nutritional deficiencies can all cause thinning hair. A multi-vitamin containing biotin, vitamin D, iron, and zinc are all helpful in getting a fuller head of hair. Regular smile

There are treatments for falling hair. Pills. Shampoos.  Diet.  Anytime you catch yourself hunching over, stand up and do a couple pushups against the door frame. It may make you more comfortable.
