Good Morning
Sherri, this is a very interesting post. I have so many books. I have books in the living room on my floor-to-ceiling shelves. I have many books in the dining room closet. It's a walk-in closet and I have 3 bookshelves filled with books. Then there's the bedroom and I have more shelves of books. I love my books and it's so hard for me to part with them. I always ask for books for Christmas. I used to think the best job would be working in a used bookstore. I would be surrounded by books.

How interesting! I need to cull my books again . I had my kids’ books, my hubby’s books, my dad’s library, my mom’s smaller library and then of course my own. This will be my 4th culling. I hated to part with them and this next batch will be most difficult but I’m allergic to the dust of them and they are wasting in the garage. This time, I may sell some.

Our downstairs library kind of looks like your picture. Shelves and shelves of books, not catalogued, not put in order, not checked out...just rows and rows of books to browse, borrow and bring back. I love it.
