My mother will be getting a hearing aid. I was surprised at how much they cost.

Re: Pat
Not bad Pat if you can hear those sounds. I have to read the news on the television
the brother use's earphones and it blocks the normal sound.

Re: sea gypsy
I suppose it is a lucrative market these days. Wouldn't it seem funny if we had to keep using an ear trumpet. 🌺🌺

.....Taps
Well you are lucky Taps you must be one in a thousand.
I told the optician that I wanted to be able to read the small print in some books.
She said it would not make any difference, I could not see why surely if one looked
through a magnifying glass things would look larger. I came away very disappointed.🌺🌺

....My hearing is fine but I could use a new pair of glasses. Anybody know if those dial adjustable-vision glasses are any good?

My auntie used to complain about her hearing aids as well. I think that I hear very well, but...one ear does hear better than the other. Hubby, now he needs a bit of hearing help.

Sometimes I just leave my hearing aids in the charger and enjoy the world on a quieter level: traffic flowing past my front door as their tires resound on the brick street, the sound of wind chimes on the porch, political yammering on TV. Â

Good afternoon
A squeaky hearing aid would drive me to drink more than tea. Best to get a new device or two. 🙉
