Re: Kabu

I remember on August it poured and poured. The season have changed,

perhaps they always did, we just don't live long enough to compare.

We shall have to try to live longer as long as it is not too strenuous. 🌺🌺

We have yet to have any water moratoriums where I'm at...As for me, I never water my grass, like some people do. We could have 30 days of no rain, and my grass grows as normal. Great genetics it has.

Re: Good Afternoon Goldiec

Yes we rely on them but some of our trees show a distinct lack of water.

Re: Good evening Sherri🌷

Yes the Water Board keep giving me sly hints. I suppose we save 12 hundred gallons of rain water but it soon goes if we do not get a storm and this last year or two it has been very dry.

Re: CCT Taps

Yes the trouble is Taps we are located on an old stone quarry so obviously the soil drains quickly . Also we have had a plagued of slugs they kept nibbling the shoots of the Dahlias.
I suppose they had to eat something.🌺🌺

CCT

I wish watering was more pleasant for you, and easier.  I love your flowers that you grow.

Good evening

I rely on my rain barrel, but with no rain lately, I have been watering everything down in the evening. My woodland creatures appreciate it too. Regular smile

Good Afternoon

I love rain barrels.  We always used them in the garden.  They save money when it's really dry.

Weather world-wide has become unpredictable and at times dangerous. I hope your extra work with the watering brings you some exercise benefits that make you feel great.

I have spent Summers in England years ago now, and the gentle rain was beautiful. They call Ireland the Emerald isle, but for me most of England is just as green in the summertime and as beautiful. I can't imagine having to water the gardens etc with a bucket because of a shortfall in water. Not where a summer rain shower has always been an obligatory part of the day.
