Good Afternoon
Pat, I'm so sorry that this happened to you. Thankfully your daughter was able to fix the problems. This is not your fault.
There are scammers everywhere.

I never had a problem with anything until I came here to the USA. I have had to rush to my credit union 3 times since being here after being scammed. I no longer shop online, something I was enjoying doing. I am sorry this happened to you. It is a terrible thing to destroy the trust and livelihood of the elderly who have worked hard for a gentle retirement. Thank God for your beautiful daughter.

Re: Pat
Sadly the scammers are becoming more cunning. I only buy through Pal Pal.
I can see how you were misled, our Banks are very alert, but it can happen so easily. Upsetting though.

Good morning
Thank goodness you were able to reverse everything. It happened to me a few days ago, but mine were for fraudulent gift cards for men's suits at JoS A. Bank charged to my credit card. Luckily, I have fraud alerts and was able to shut it down within minutes after receiving the alert on my cellphone. My bank closed the old account and is sending me a new card with brand new numbers. Credit cards are good like that. Debit cards, not so much. I have seen those posts on Facebook where they show a celebrity death, housefire, or some other awful news. Facebook is not what it used to be. I like it for sharing photos, recipes, jokes, and keeping in touch with friends. Well, now that the dust has settled, try to enjoy your day.
