.....There are those kind of women everywhere....my Mother-in-Law was one of them.   It is really, really difficult to be kind and nice to them.   The one good thing she did for me was to make me not want to be like her.

Re: Sherri G

Sherri, she ordinarily did not allow me to be so vocal, but I believe she also felt the woman had stepped over a line. And she did not try to force me or talk me into going back to that church.

Good afternoon

She definitely crossed a boundary that wasn't hers to tread over. You were a feisty thirteen-year-old, and it's awesome that you knew what you wanted at such a young age. I also find it fascinating that your mother allowed for you to be so vocal. I didn't grow up with that luxury. I was to be seen and not heard for the most part. Don't tell anyone smile

oh yes, clean up your own backyard before delving into someone' else's business. {I love mixing metaphors; especially when we are discussing someone who's own backyard is full of junk! }

Good Afternoon

That woman should have worried about her life and stayed out of your business.  She's what I call a busybody.

I can imagine, the silly old woman. Although it looked like she was looking for something that never existed in her own offspring.🌺🌺
