I remember the 2000 Olympics in Sydney and what fun it was. We had guests from country places staying all the time with us in Sydney. and if we weren't at the games we were watching it on TV or down town where they had created a great Olympic park with huge TV screens, and places to eat and drink and of course buy souvenirs.

Good afternoon

This was an enjoyable blog post to read. I absolutely appreciate your being candid. I enjoy watching team events. Politics and religious disagreements have no place on the playing field.

Good Morning

I love the Olympics too!  I was trying to figure out which sport I liked to watch most but that's hard to do.  One of my favorites is skiing.  I love the fairness of competing.

I love this post! I wholeheartedly agree with you. Love the Olympics. Have attended and eagerly watch both the Winter and  Summer events. It would have been an honor to represent my country  as an Olympian once upon a time, had I been so blessed.
