Re: Yes, C_C_T, there are several varieties of fish in the Monongahela River
After the river had a serious overhaul back in the 1960s, removing debris, sunken barges, old boats, and other unwanted garbage, it was stocked with over 70 species of fish. https://pfbc.pa.gov/images/reports/2010bio/8x07_13mon.htm

Yes, C_C_T, there are several varieties of fish in the Monongahela River
The Monongahela River is home to bass, catfish, bluegill, walleye, and sauger, making it the perfect location for our resident bald eagles to set up nests. 🐟 🦅🐡

Re: Thank you, Ciel. Yes, we can walk down to the water and launch a boat.
We live next door to the boat club and we have a dock located downtown just two blocks away. 🛶
