John has always got his hands full fixing broken crap around our house. In a perfect world, appliances would last forever without needing updates or new parts.

Yes all...humans and animals are struggling with the heat & humidity. Best is to avoid the midday sun if you can...

Goldiec, a

Here the temperature is hovering around 113  to 120=degrees the past one month. We feel so drained out in such dry desert heat. Hoping of some reprieve in the next three days. IClecelsnd seems to be only a shade better. Be well. Be safe.

You do seem to have a lot of trouble with appliances and plumbing etc. I hope one of these days you find everything is working properly and it stays that way for you. take care in the heat.

Good afternoon

Thank goodness for having a service plan. It isn't too terribly hot here, maybe because it is overcast. We plan to putz around the yard doing some damage control and trimming, and then we will have dinner in front of the television. We are currently caught up in two different series. I wish there were more time in the day. Enjoy yours, and please send some of that rain our way.

It must be tiring the constant heat. It was quite chilly here this morning not really weather we expect along now. The constant wind dries every thing, so watering is a constant chore.

We have magpies the come every day and so do the young ones I like to feed them because they will search for small birds nests to steal  the eggs if they cannot find food. 🦋

The extreme heat has moderated a little bit here today, it's overcast - but the high 90 degree temps are due to return and they're forecasting at least 3 days of record-breaking highs at or near 100 degrees. It is exhausting. I hope you and Sadie can stay cool and the rest of your loved ones also safe.
