......I found today that at my new place is a Bible Study on Monday afternoons and I thought of you. I didn't find out about it until it was nearly over. So I'll watch out for it next Monday afternoon.

It is coming our way too this week, starting today. I am lucky to be living a little higher in the mountains surrounded by trees; it stays quite a bit cooler compared to cities. I have no AC here though. Lots of fans and towels to wet down with cool water and draped on the beasts when it gets too warm for them. Stay safe!

Tropical weathers are one reason I live west of the Mississippi! After growing up in the NY metro area for 10 years, I know how much I don't want to be in that climate!

Hi, Summer has struck with a vengeance... soaring temperatures...it's hot & humid... terrible during the day and this year the nights don't cool down either...In India we make a drink with raw mango & mint to beat the heat.
I too like my house neat and clean 😊

Sounds like a great day for all the different beverages you stocked up on...If the powers-that-be are telling us to limit appliance usage (basically electric usage), how are electric vehicles going to work out?

Good morning
I was thinking about the woodland creatures too. The heat more than likely affects them since they are not used to the strange weather conditions. Having two washers is a sure bet that you will not have any dirty laundry. I haven't tried Walmart's online shopping yet, but I went shopping at Walmart yesterday after treating John to a Father's Day dinner and bought my gnomes a new house. They are so excited about it. I saw them hanging new curtains in it this morning. 🍄 Stay cool and enjoy your day.

We are enduring the same weather forecast - at least 10 days of hot humid misery in store. Don't know what I'll do to keep my hands busy once I finish attaching the eyes and grins to the poop emoji hats I crocheted. I'm out of brown yarn so can't make more. Maybe I can find an old sweater to take apart and wind the yarn into balls to use for beanies...
