It is nice to be prepared. We really have not needed air con. I don't know if the view will change we do get a lot of wind. The water board keeps remarking that I use excessive
amounts of water although we catch all we can in tubs. Our ground is so dry because
we are on an old stone quarry. We used to have well. I wondered at times if the water
drained from the cemetery as it is quite near and high up.

I just looked and it is 89 F here and still rising. There is a breeze though so that is good.

I have to wait an hour after my morning meds before I can take in caffeine. The caffeine even in a cup of decaf can lessen the effectiveness of the medication. No food, either. It's an hour where my mind goes wandering into the private lives of my backyard critters.

Good morning
Happy birthday to Jim! 
I enjoy watching the woodland creatures playing in the yard. We have those noisy birds too. Over the years I have learned to identify them by the individual noise they make. The Cardinals with their chirp, are my favorite. Stay cool and enjoy your writing class.
