Good Evening
Pat, I look forward to reading about the adventures with all the critters in your neighborhood. We have a busy yard where things are never boring. The other day we had a coyote that was chasing baby deer, and the mama deer was chasing him away from the babies. We were all worried, but the mama deer won. Our Mama deer are huge. I think they have a smorgasbord in our yard. I know we have a mulberry tree, but I don't know if they like the berries.

I think someone must have poisoned my Ground hog that got drunk here a couple of years ago for I never see him. he had openings to next door and behind me's yards. I would never have harmed him.Everybody does whatever they want in my backyard. it is private all Summer. But Now what is going to happen to these two kids. I shall worry all day.

Good afternoon
Cute story. Yep, the little rascals work tirelessly to dig holes, make nests, and plant seeds, corn, and nuts everywhere. I guess I can see their side of things, but they sure do make a lot of extra work for the two legs, who have to go around and clean up their messes. They have been planting corn in my flower pots that are now 3 inches tall. I have 1-inch holes dug here and there and everywhere they have made tunnel entrances to their nests. It's a non-stop chore to keep up with the critters, but I enjoy watching them.
