I will look into alfalfa Ciel. It is quite easy to sprout things like sun flower seeds but it gets boring.🌺🌺

Occasionally we take old car wash equipment to the scrapyard. We can get a decent amount from it.

Good hint about strawberries! Maybe I'll try some again this year, buying an already-flowering plant in a pot at the local nursery store.
I used to like alfalfa sprouts on sandwiches with sliced turkey, a big dab of mayonnaise, and some cranberry sauce. But I don't see sprouts in the store much. I have not tried sprouting my own, though.
