Re: Accumulation Avalanche

Since I'm in the latter years of my life, I hope to keep belonging to a minimum so that when I fly away my sons won't have to deal with so much to clear out my place.

Good afternoon

Good for you. A fresh start comes with letting go of the old baggage. I love teapots, but I see your point, and I use the same cup every day too. You are going about this move in the best way possible. Girl hug

Accumulation Avalanche

It is incredible how things appear in your household and multiply overnight. We associate all the memories with different physical treasures.  My wife loves antique stores. She collects teapots.  I collect baseball caps from different states and sports teams. We have a lot of unwanted items as well. That we have to dispose of. I like giving things away. My wife likes throwing things away.

FSI....I love memories...

It is just when I desperately need to remember something that it evades me.  Drives me nuts.

Much of my stuff stayed in Australia and I only have a small amount with me. From Jewelry to fine bone china pieces. I have a couple of paintings on walls as well as China plates but every move was a big scale down and a sneaky rebuy of something I see occasionallySmile with tongue out

A lot of memories are flooding back, I see. I love when that happens.

You're moving from your private museum to a fresh start and a new batch of memories. It's all good.
