Glad Archie is feeling better. I hope your strawberries are, too. Here we had snow again yesterday, and 60s today. Buds are out on the lilacs. Is your sister's electric buggy like a golf cart? They're fun to drive, I hope she behaves herself in it!

Re: Chiff . Chaff
.....I am also marooned in the sense that I don't drive anymore. I kind of like it though. I've had a life of plenty of activity and it is kind of nice to be "marooned". But it is also nice to have Son and Sis and Nephew when I really need to be out and about. I also can still go out for walks.

As i say to Jim and to myself. One step in front of the last one; we can't stop and feel sorry for ourselves, have to always keep going forward.

Good Afternoon
I'm so glad to hear that Archie is doing okay. I believe it would be a good idea for your sister to move closer to you now that her old neighbors are all gone. I know it's hard to leave the old neighborhood though. When you grew how peppers did you eat them?

You're right - we do have to look ahead despite what we fear may be around the corner. I hope your strawberries live long and prosper. The world's weather seems to be unreliable and extreme at times, with sudden cold snaps or blasts of heat. Saying from the '70s seems to fit: we've got to just keep on keeping on.
