Music that once gave pleasure is always sweet .
Bringing back memories even if they were lost in time.
I suppose fashion changes one does not meet many
when driving to Church.

Re: Kabu
.....I troll the YouTube for good old music that I love. At the top of every page is a place for Search and I can always find anything I like and then go from there.

I love big band music, I love 50's music and 60's70's 80's, but at the end of the Millenium, music for younger generations changed into something I don't even feel is music.

Music does touch a soul...I find that for a lot of churchgoers, one of the reasons they like their church so much is the music.

"In The Mood" was a standby while I was growing up. Loved it on the radio. Love your description of your daddy. I have also noticed how people dress down for church these days. I remember when a hat and gloves were mandatory, and now they show up in ragged booty shorts and flip-flops. I miss the old-time music that we could sing along to...

Good morning
I was raised on music too. My stepdad played in a country band on the weekend. I remember my stepdad playing Glen Miller, the Andrew Sisters, Chet Atkins, and others. My parents used to watch Lawrence Welk and Hee Haw. I remember bringing a rock album into the house when I was 15. My stepdad did not appreciate it. Today, I have an appreciation for ALL music. I was also raised during the time when women wore dresses. Maybe that is why my mom and I still wear them today.
