Good Morning

Pat, Wow!  I'm not sure what I would have done in a case like this.  I will say that I've always been thankful that I learned how to survive in a crazy world that's getting crazier by the day.  I hope you have a good day.

Re: BearcatMike....

Can't help but laugh about the repetitions because that has happened to me and it is kind of embarrassing not to be able to remedy it.

Excellent Post

The origins of my family were also humble. However; it became normal. Yet, I knew that there were other families worse off than ours. It keeps you grounded and it makes you thankful for what you have. I wish they had an economic exchange program. Where rich children live with poor people. And poor people would live with the wealthy. It would really improve everyone's point of view.

Re: Pat_b

.....Interesting Post.   I don't remember ever thinking of our family as being poor, but with seven children and a stay at home Mom we really had to stretch the budget and we learned to do without many niceties.   Dad worked hard and he was good at budgeting his money.   I learned from him to pay as you go and not to get involved in credit, and to do without if I didn't have the money to pay for something.

I never had a lot of money ours was a working farm that meant we all worked, my Dad and the girls. Sure i had privileges but Mum and Dad went without for that to happen and I had one less year of boarding school than big sister so we could travel abroad as a family...and also Wool became a huge winner for us. married. I was broke for years.

Good afternoon

Good for your positive way of thinking about her attitude as well as your own on the matter. I have sat on both sides of the fence during my life. It is a true blessing to understand having less and more and not being spoiled or jealous of either condition. Thumbs up
