Re: Chiff Chaff
.....As a nurse, I only remember accepting one gift. The patient spent her recovery time crocheting and she wanted to give me a really pretty lavender doily that she completed. I still have it after all these years.

As an RN I was never allowed to accept a gift of money, they said we got a proper wage, anyway if I was nursing someone really sick for many weeks as happened at times, I would accept a bottle of Sherry!!

Hoping you feel better...My parents have gotten the podiatrist a lot of money due to their toenails needing to be cut.

Good afternoon
Ouch! I watched my husband have an ingrown toenail removed by a Navy doctor back in 1986. To this day John has not forgotten that pain, and now he extra careful when cutting his toenails. Not too short and straight across.

A few times I have taken some of my crocheted beanies to the nurses and my doctor, they get a big kick out of them. I tell them if they can't use them to pass them on to the oncology dept. for those who lose their hair from cancer treatments. I remember having an ingrown toenail once. It was miserable. I hope yours is quickly mended and no trouble.

Good Morning
I hope your week has started out well. I was surprised that you can give your doctor's office gifts. I've truly never thought of that. I wonder what the nurses would think if I brought them candy?
