You nailed this topic 100%. Whether forgotten or a constant reminder, I have yet to meet another human that doesn't have some piece of baggage that they carry around, myself included. For me, having a network of caring people around helps to lighten the load when necessary.

Of course some wounds are so deep that most never even think that they are there.
When I was a boy of five I stood on a section of green grass and thought why have I got
this pain in my mind? I never thought of finding the reason which was twisted and turned
at times, until by accident almost I made exploratory searches deep into my early
existence.

@ my age dear friend, Most wounds, I have dealt with, but I suppose all of us can be re hurt at sometime when we least expect it. I have shared much and many episodes here over the years which has always been a help.
