I yam very happy reading this Post. I learned a life time ago not to be uppity with other folks. What Have any of us got to be Uppity about anyway. Everyone here except jim loves my accent...they don't have to live with me. LOL. When you are deaf and she speaks with an accent it just confuses a fella.

Good morning
This is a cute story that I "yam" happy to have read. I believe that people fear the unknown that comes with the territory where foreigners are concerned. Fortunately, there are open-minded people such as yourself who are willing to get to know them and learn about the life that they have lived while in another part of the world. We can learn a lot from a stranger and the simple act of kindness in getting to know one.
