When I began at Blogit twenty years ago....

.....it was for fun.  The only money I ever made writing, up to that point, was to sell two different poems to a magazine.   The rest of my writing was years of hand writing in patients' charts as a nurse.   Of course I had dreams of becoming rich and famous as a writer, pipe dreams.  But I love keeping in contact with other writers by computer.

I suppose the easiest way to sell anything that one writes is to do something outrageous.

Having said that it is easier if blessed within certain circles. As you may know the first

writers on Amazon made a killing because it was a new feature. Now there are books

free to read or at a giveaway price apart from a few that have managed to fill a need

in a massive audience. I suppose a paying feature would be to write Wills  or something

after that manner. There are always opportunities if one can find them is the prob.

Good evening

I enjoy writing as well even though I am not great at it. It sounds as though you are quite creative and talented in several different areas. Keeping up with that is most definitely a good habit. Regular smile

My son is determined to make his living and career as a builder of props for theater and for Live Action Role Play, and as a writer and in theater...  He, at 38, is just beginning to see a good return as he has identified and connected with his market. That right there is the hardest part: finding people who want and will pay fairly for what you do.

Your headline reminds me also: Solutions over time often become problems.

That's the best way to look at your passions, not factoring in the money. If the money comes great, if not we are doing something that is nonetheless fulfilling.

Re:

Thanks for the feedback

I am working on providing more feedback to others.

I am trying to focus on copywriting to create a steady income.

I just need to do the work.

I knew it would take a while before I could write a book.

Sites like this one will encourage you to keep writing, but you have to read and comment to others or they get sick of no feed back.

I have a publisher working with me on a Book. Other times I self published. That made a few dollars but not enough. This will have to sell big time to cover my costs. It is not many folks who make the real Money but I have been writing all my life can't stop.
