Pat

Remember "Lullabye of Birdland"?   We don't have near as many birds since they have cut down so many old trees.  I haven't heard the rat-a-tat-tat of red headed wood peckers in years, nor many of the others that frequented our place.

Good Morning

I would love for it to be an early Spring. We may see some sunshine later in the day. There's a chance for snow this week.

It is strange the birds do appear to be very nervous. Even a Magpie that comes regularly

seems to be on double alert, The little Robins dart in a grab one meal worm and then

seem to wait before daring to take another. Of course they may have been well bred

with table manners. Daffodils are out which is early for this time of year. We shall see.🌺🌺

In Sydney the Cicadas woke every year and chirped really loud all Summer. It is overcast and a high of 38 here so not very warm.

The weather is absolutely bizarre, but I'll take it

As a bird watcher myself, that is a lovely sight to see in your backyard. It is warm with a high of 60 expected today, but I just read that Pennsylvania may have snow coming for Valentine's Day. The Robins are going to be really confused if this happens. Sarcastic smile
