I can no longer hike the woodland trails I used to love - even if I were living nearby. But there's nothing to stop me from remembering the peace and tranquility, the green of them. In my mind I can be there, seated at the foot of a 50' fir tree in the blink of an eye. I hope your day is cozy.Â

My darling Taps.I don't jog I water my potted plants. LOL. I am not much use to anyone; but things will get better when the Reno. is done and the flooring is going in today. A shade darker than I wanted but it will be covered with furniture mostly. If there is a spare corner, I will put a chair in there, perhaps a deep blue Mat the same color as the Curtains. Velvet, yes, but not expensive and no fancy valance or anything.I was thinking I might sew some sky blue flowers across the top along where the Rod is...or not. Not attached as in a tape of them, but say 8-10 on each of the curtains.  We ordered the curtains yesterday and are really pleased with the price and they will be here next Tuesday. I looked on line and they are coming from JC Penny. I don't think I have ever bought anything from there before in my life, so that's another first. I will have to go to their store now I know there is one here.
Have to see my Dr. today, just a follow up from the trip to the hospital. I feel back to myself but am very cautious what i am eating. Been living on a veg. soup; well cooked and easy to swallow. Love to everyone this last day of January.

There's a 40-mile trail near where I live. It's safe and flat ground at the portion I go to.
