If you re-edit your post and click on the Advanced HTML users radio button, you'd find out a code like this where your image is supposed to be: <img src=file c:\\My Documents\image.gif>. That is the reason why only you can see the image you've posted.
My suggestion is you register at http://www.photobucket.com for free storage, and upload your images there. Photobucket will give you three ways to link to your images from your page.

Photos
Make sure that you are adding links to photos that are already posted to the Internet and not located on your personal PC.
There are free picture services that allow such content to be uploaded. You may also wish to check with your ISP to find out if they provide space for such content. We expect to offer such features as part of Blogit in the future as well.
