Re: Good morning Sherri
Sherri what you need is netting. The birds do not eat raspberries. I have planted blueberry bushes but not much luck. I now buy frozen ones and boil them with raisons. πΊ

Re: adnohr
We always have the risk of late ground frosts so we usually wait until June for outdoor planting. You may be right it is a bit of a pain we cannot use peat for compost, one has to make do with substitutes. πΊ

Sounds to me like Kitty is in the family way. Karen has been receiving seeds in the mail during the winter and has a real indoor starter garden going on downstairs. Pretty smart idea to order early. Since Covid the seed companies have been running out of merchandise quickly, I suspect there are many new gardners out there.

Good morning
I am looking forward to planting my seeds and bulbs. This year, we plan to plant blueberry bushes. I'm sure the birds will get their share before I can get to them. I planted raspberry bushes a few years ago. The bunnies and the birds have had a field day with those. I only have two of six bushes left.

Your kitty is probably on a mission, helping James Bond stop a nefarious plot to flood the city with rats. Your last line about getting the scoop on who has kicked the bucket is a familiar idea - I habitually scan the obituaries to make sure my name isn't listed.Β
