Cold here as well dear although no clouds in the sky at present. I think our weekend is supposed to warm up somewhat. I have things to get done in the kitchen and cleaning to do in the bathroom and absolutely no energy tp do anything except sit here wrapped in a blanket and playing with my laptop.

I prefer to be sleeping when the clock strikes midnight. Part of it is that it's not the same without Dick Clark. The second is that the New Year will be there whenever I wake up.

Good morning
Go Browns! It's chilly here in Pittsburgh today as well. The weather today is a mix of rain and flurries. Dumplings are one of John's favorites. I will have to remember to make him some soon. For our New Year's Day dinner, I will be making my 15-bean soup with ham. I load it with carrots, celery, onions, and tomatoes. It is delicious. Stay warm!
