and stuff happening but I can't say my youth was blighted by risks of end of world happenings and the end of the USA.

Cute story, nice translation from Brit to American slang. I liked the Beatles and the Monkees and so many great rock & rollers. It may be because I was younger, but those days seemed to be more fun than our current world. Thanks for this post!
