I love beets, any of them...
But my favorite is still pickled red beets because Mom always made a lot of the fresh from our garden. Grandson Phil takes after me. He never turns them down.

Good afternoon
Those white sugar beets do have a milder flavor than the red beets. I love roasting root vegetables due to it bringing out their sweetness. Maybe this is why they are used to make sugar.
