That's one of those times...
that was a horrible time and will always be remembered. But apparently the world did not learn its lesson as bad things just keep happening.

When people around the World I have chatted with over my life love to say how the USA dropped Nuclear Bombs on Japanese cities, I have reminded them that a Japan woke a sleeping Giant when they destroyed Pearl Harbor, didn't even declarer war, just did it.
