Oh, to answer your question about the brandied cranberry sauce, I put, in the correct proportions, water and cranberries white sugar, raw sugar, a smidgeon of maple syrup, a taste of orange juice, orange peel and a very slight hint of Saigon Cinnamon. The brandy goes in while the water and sweeteners are boiling but I turn off the burner while pouring. I also cook it a long time, using more liquid than is called for until it cooks down.

I am with FSI you will know when you are ready or if you are ready. You are not completely alone like I was during covid when Wiley died. I had already been alone for over a year. besides Wiley picked Jim out which was weird and I didn't want to hear at the time!

Cool Beans about your gentleman friends. Way to go! I was telling son Rich that some old guy (maybe 75) kept showing up and talking to me Walmart. I thought it was cool that at 88 I could still catch someone's eye. Son warned me that when guys get to their 60s and 70s, they're hoping to find a "nurse with a purse."

C_C_T, I really think they are cutting down the size of our food packages. Now I look at the ozs. in a pack. They used to be 16oz and now they are 12oz. A lot of box noodles are like this now. It's so cold but it doesn't seem to bother Sadie. She was as happy as can be to go outside.

Yes one has to be careful, a little knock and it flares up.
Also one has to be careful, it is nice to talk and feel
that warm feeling of being needed.
It is pretty miserable here today a ground frost
and now it is overcast. We have just had our groceries delivered.
I had to laugh some of the packs which looked good
are about suitable for a dwarf. 🌺
