We have a turkey in the fridge, an apple tart in the freezer, and I have bag of little Yukon gold potatoes. That's as far as feast plans have gotten.

Pat, when I was growing up we always had turkey for the holidays. The only time we had ham was for Easter. I love the holidays.

Sherri, there are so many words that Sadie understands. She never fails to amaze me. She was so excited when she got to camp. When we pick her up she will be exhausted. I think she runs and plays the whole time she's at camp.

I loved ham the way Mom used to fix it, with a brown sugar glaze and cloves
for flavor and decoration. I even remember that when the ham was too expensive for meals other than holidays, she'd glaze and season a can of Spam and bake it in the oven. It was yum. I know your holiday feast and leftovers will be something to remember and celebrate.

I love ham for Thanksgiving. I do not like turkey. I’ve always found it to be dry and I do not like gravy.

That is funny that Sadie understands the word camp. Eventually, she will catch onto the spelling of it. I have heard that Border Collies are a smart breed of dog. Obviously, that's true in the case of your furry friend. Have a great day, and enjoy your breakfast with your daughter.
