Pets and Christmas trees don't always live harmoniously together.
We had a kitten once, accident waiting to happen on her best days, who would not stay away from our tree. There was one branch that called to her; I found her sitting on it washing her face. Didn't even try to get her down.

Uh Oh Indoor tree and that doggy look says it all. Now if they also have a kitty!!!

We once had a cat that destroyed our Christmas tree. The lights and dangling objects are apparently just too hard to resist.

In all my years only one of my sons, grandsons, great-grandchildren ever turned the completely decorated, lit up Christmas tree over on top of himself. It was Grandson Phil. He was a strong crawler but he needed something to pull himself up to standing. Oh what a mess that was but glad he was not hurt.
