You’re not selfish at all. It’s completely understandable to want our family to be far away from dangerous situation, especially war zones.

I'm so glad your grandson is coming home. That is wonderful news. And yes, you are right, the format here has changed and I really was used to the other way and did okay with it. Oh, well...

No darling. You are not selfish, you are Grandma and I could not stand to see one of my Grandchildren going to a war zone. It is right and proper for us not to want to see our family harmed in any way. Doesn't mean we want to see others harmed either. I am going to Pray each day for him and others as I did when Peter was in danger.

Good afternoon
Being a part of a military family is hard. Depending on their duties, they have to keep certain things quiet. I pray that all is well for your family and that your veteran comes home safe and sound. As for the format, mine changed during the middle of my writing a blog post. So far it seems to be about the same. Like you, I do not like unexpected change, but this is the world that we live in. Just keep thinking positive thoughts.

I can hardly believe it...just after I posted this, my DIL sent a Messenger note to say he is on the way home. He arrived in Germany last night and should be home (Ft.Riley KS) by tomorrow.
