Goldiec
Have a good day and hope that the weather gets more agreeable to bear its severity. Stay warm. Am reminded of a line from T. S. Eliot’s The Waste Land …. “Winter kept us warm/ covering earth in forgetful snow/ feeding a little jive with dried tubers”.

Had our first snow too - I love it!. It is colder but I have the wood stove going. It is a different kind of heat, I find - my beasts are in front of the fire and enjoying it muchly! Have you tried salad and oven roasted veggies with chicken?

I don’t like going out when it’s cold either. Better to stay in. Hope you had a great day.

And I guess the weather will be very cold with a fairly big dump of snow as your weather travels over the Lakes to where I used to live. i miss the heavy snow that sticks. my four acres would stay pristine for the next months; except where a dear made a snow path to get to the grain I put out for the birds.

Good morning
Your weather is very similar to ours, but we are located only 3 hours apart. I love watching animals when they experience snow for the first time. I usually tip 20% too, but I have learned that many restaurants add the gratuity to the bill, although I don't mind leaving a good tip for good service. Around here, many of the fast food joints have tip jars on the counters. It seems that everyone these days expects a tip for doing their job.

I'm glad for the paragraphs coming back. I figured it would, but there is always the question of when that will happen.

Cleveland's weather sounds a lot like that in St. Louis, except that
so far we haven't had snow falling. I can wait. In fact, I think today's the day I'm going to drag the snow shovel from the garage onto the front porch. I did this last year and it seemed to be a charm against a measurable snowfall. Didn't have to clear sidewalks even one time. Stay cozy. Happy November.
