And what about leprosy where people were taken to a colony perhaps on an island to keep them away from the general population. Then I knew one poor middle aged man who had been rescued from a farm. He was born with physical and mental difficulties and had been penned up with the chickens for years. he wouldn't eat with his hands or even drink from a cup. he pecked and slurped everything into his mouth because he had learned from the chickens.
