Yes well we had our share, Pansy Potter tough girl. Desperate Dan was always eating
cow pies with the horns sticking out. Korky the cat. Lord Snooty
and Billy Bunter who was always eating goodies. Later on we had
story comics . I do remember a desperado he used bullets made of ice
we did not know that until the end. Tiny Tots and Chicks Own for little uns.

We had 'Hi and Loisb ', 'Peanuts' I believe, 'Lil Abner' too and Magoo? My Grandpa would take the paper, then pull out the comic pages and put them on the table for we kids to enjoy.

Good Morning
Pat, we used to get weekly and daily papers and on Sunday there were lots of pages of comics. Now the papers are gone. We would get the Plain Dealer in the morning and the Cleveland Press in the evening. It's funny how times have changed. I'm sure the internet has something to do with it. I remember they had a big section for Help wanted and if anyone was looking for a job they would start there. Times are different now.

At boarding school the daily paper for south australia was always left out for us to read on the Common room table. everyone used to take a look that ws 96 girls and one paper. I found if I read the front page headlines and then shared the page of "funny's" with others I was able to keep current.
