There is no guarantee as such that pursuit of knowledge will ultimately reveal truth. There is hardly one philosopher for whom truth was revealed. Rather, in their pursuit, they turned mad. Nietzsche claimed the exemplary human being must craft his/her own identity through self-realization and do so without relying on anything transcending that life—such as God or a soul. The key-word is through self-realization which most of the saintly Indians/ sadhus was done without one becoming mad. L💕
