If I sit in a Church I look at my carvings on the pillar. It is funny really I was quite religious in a way when I was young. In a way it is nice to believe in something just for peace of mind.

exactly dear one. God doesn't change just to make life easier for us individuals. God was, Gos is and always will be. I don't belong in the Church and Wiley bless his heart still went to please his deceased father. so we went together. I grew up methodist but i find that church like many others has changed over the years....except for one thing. If I go to a service someone always asks me if I would like to help with morning tea or perhaps the flowers. No if I sit in a Church it is to commune and to worship my God.

There are so many different religions in the world we live in today. It is amazing to me. The one thing I will say is to be very careful about who you let into your home. Sometimes people are not what they say they are.

Actually, it was very interesting to see how important it was to them to convert me to their version of religion. I found out after they were gone that for every ten persons they brought into their "family" they received a "talent" and they were all in a type of competition because the highest 144,000 people would get to go to heaven (if they followed all the other stipulations.)

Good morning
You are sweet to welcome strangers into your home. The changes in this world are becoming very hard to process. There are just too many at one time. Religion is a touchy subject since so many people have different beliefs. Religion along with politics is an area that is best avoided when conversing with others unless one loves debates. I personally do not.

Oh, dear TAPS, I would be extremely cautious about letting strangers into your home in the future. If they are truly people who want to spread the Word, they will understand if you decline their request to chat with you about Him. Your faith is strong enough and you are well-versed enough in religious concepts that I doubt there is much they could do to enlighten you further. Just glad all is well! Take care!
