thank you for this image. I've been thinking about making a
papier maché face on the maple tree out front as a Halloween decoration. Issues are how to waterproof the surface so it doesn't melt off in the first rain, and how to remove it after the holiday without damaging the bark. Maybe I'll find a mask to stick in the fork of the tree so it looks like a spooky being is hiding behind the tree and looking at passers-by.

Sounds like a good idea. A vandal cut a monumental tree down here. Folk were traumatized.😊😊
