Those days in the 70s are beautiful, not too hot and not too cold.

It's great to know what's going on at your house. Glad you enjoyed the riggies. My mom used to make them quite often. In our family everyone had their favorite type of pasta. Hubby likes linguine, kids liked angel hair, grandkids like penne or spaghetti. Everyone likes lasagna though.

Re: Good afternoon
Sherri, we always have such a good time when we get together. We love parsley potatoes in butter too. They are delicious.

Pat, thank you so much for the wonderful comment. The Sacred Grounds coffee shop sounds like a nice place to stop in and visit. It's always nice to see old friends. When I started to write this post I wanted it to be a happy post so your comment makes me really happy.

Save this post in your journal file, as a typical example of a happy
family gathering. What a refreshing change to read this after all the political hoo-ha and wrangling that seems to go on 24-7 on the networks. I'm beginning to think maybe I am too much alone - perhaps I should stop by the Sacred Grounds coffee shop now and then to chat with old friends and watch passers-by.
