We are our own worst critics along with being the ultimate bearers of guilt trips brought on by our own insecurities. Humans are complex and confusing.

Yes, we are complex beings. I suppose reasons are our own judgment. 

Perhaps what some think is guilt is just like a feather falling , falling.

Time does have a way of easing our guilt or even increasing it. There are things that bothered me that no longer do.

So there were times in our lives when we didn't take quite the path we could have. I no longer worry about Not being the perfect child, friend, wife, mother , adult.

I hope you have a wonderful night.  It's chilly here this evening.  It's going to be in the 50s.  I shut the windows early to keep the heat inside.  I have to say you are too good to worry about anything you may or may not have done in the past.

If it's any comfort to you - those who should feel guilty for some

deliberate meanspirited offense rarely ever do. Feeling guilty probably means whatever you did that brought on the feeling was out of character and won't happen again. Kindness to yourself is a good thing.

we seem to carry our guilt to far as i did but one day it will come to pass as you say age makes the difference as life has taught us wisdom as we have aged
